Every object is made by hand. No assembly line and no template, just a decision to do it right.
Hard metal becomes a shape that feels soft. The production steps from the raw aluminium blank to the finished light object.
Every object begins with a plan. This is where the construction materials are determined. Material thickness and profile are based on the size and structural requirements of the object. Choosing incorrectly here results in a shape that either won't hold its weight or looks clunky.
Cut, bent, welded. This is where every design decision is made and where the most experience is required. The metalworker sees where the next line goes and places it with a steady hand. Piece by piece, a homogeneous surface with a fractal character grows.
Before the coating comes the care. The surface is cleaned and every seam is checked. Then the object is powder-coated. Custom pieces are coated in the colour of your choice. The result is a clean surface that withstands rain and frost for years.
Now the light is brought into the object. The warm-white LEDs are guided along the shape and fixed individually so that they accentuate the line rather than disrupt it. Cables disappear into the profile. At the end of this step, the piece lights up for the first time.
Finally, every piece goes through an inspection. Seams, paint finish, seal, and functionality. Only when everything is perfect is it packed and sent on its way.
Small batches, a genuine workshop, and people with names. We don't talk about how many pieces per hour. We ensure it’s right before it leaves our doors.
The same workshop also works on a grand scale. Light installations for cities and shopping centres. That experience flows into every small object. You can see it in the light.
Flawless design begins with rough work. Cutting, bending, welding. Sparks and heat. With every step, it becomes more refined until, in the end, only the final touch of light is missing.
